This is a 1951 USMC M38 Military Jeep. Built during the Cold War, the M38 was designed to survive WW3, and has the ability to operate underwater, or in sub zero temperatures with the correct kits installed. It can also survive a nuclear electromagnetic pulse (EMP) attack, with its fully shielded 24 volt ignition system. This Jeep came from a private collector who purchased it from Glen Haven Fire Department. The Jeep was very original and in good running and driving condition, but needed to be cleaned up, and restored back to its USMC Color. It took 3 years to finish the restoration, seals and other damaged parts were replaced. The body is all original with no reproduction parts. Runs and drives great. Sold as is, with no refunds.
