Built by renowned Jeepney builder SARAO in the Philippines and brought over to the U.S. in the 80’s by the owner of Tombstone Pizza.
It is very original and super authentic and mostly in its original form with a few small up grades. Its said to by one of 12 known to exist in the country. Would be incredible for a promotional vehicle.
It’s powered by the legendary 225 Dauntless V6 which was used by Jeep in the late 60’s in CJ’s, Commandos and Jeepsters.
It starts quick, and runs strong. It also has a Turbo Hydromatic automatic transmission, and Power Steering and Power Disc Brakes.
Almost all the lights work, one or maybe two bulbs are out. It drives nice and has a new wheel and tire set.
I’ve owned hundreds of Classic Cars and Trucks, and nothing gets the attention this rig gets. People literally surround this truck when it pull into a gas station. Located in San Antonio Texas. It has seating for about 16 people in the back.
