SUPER RARE 1976 Jeep J10 4X4 “Pioneer” PICKUP That is all original!
It has an inline 6 cylinder 258 cu in engine with a 1 bbl carburetor. It had been sitting in a barn for 32 years, that would explain why the interior is in such good shape. I sandblasted and painted the wheels and put new tires on it. I put a new battery in it. I had to replace the fuel tank, fuel pump, fuel lines and rebuild the carburetor to get it running. I put on a new aluminum radiator and hoses. I had to replace the rubber hoses for the tranny cooler. I replaced the transmission filter, fluid and pan gasket, so it has fresh transmission fluid. I also had to clean out the heater box and replace the heater core and heater hoses so now it has fresh coolant. I replaced the brake master cylinder, all four brake wheel cylinders and some of the brake lines. The brake drums and shoes were in pretty good shape so I left them alone. They’re not power brakes, but they work great. It has power steering. The rear axle pinion seal was leaking so I replaced it. I replaced the bearings and seals in the front axle and changed the differential fluid. It has a 3 speed TH350 automatic transmission mated to a Borg Warner BW1339 transfer case. This is a full time Quadratrac 4wd system with low range. It is a very solid truck. The mileage is 53290 at the time of posting. Everything works on it, except the clock and radio.
