*An American icon and this One is one of a kind, clean, and compared to the new Jeep trucks, this one is the “Original”.
* 401 AMC engine this was upgraded from the stock AMC 360 ( has 25,000 miles on it.. it has not been driven much it was intended for off road)
*Transmission is automatic ( customized to mesh with engine.. also rebuilt w/25,000 miles)
* Differentials are set at 4:88 gear ratio
* 4 wheel drive works
* up graded exhaust – good condition
Original brush guard – hard to find
* 35 inch tires x4 (they are 0ld)
* Deaver springs inc. Lift – under axle leaf springs ( could use a to have a spring refresh- would add inches to the vehicles current lift.. overtime the springs have sagged) $deeplink_path=/redirect/ will perform this service, I had this done years ago.
* King shocks x4 with custom suspension (T and J ‘S performance center- off road shop) .. spent over 5k. ( many years ago)
* Line x bed liner sprayer in the truck bed as well in the cab ( good thing.. no major rust on truck in the bed or cab ) and being a California vehicle helped preserve this vehicle in excellent shape
* Bucket seats w/ 5 point harness-custom
* Oak beam rails- custom made to original specifications.( see photos – impossible to find otherwise) and makes this original to how it came from the factory.. something I’m very proud of!
* extra gas tank- currently not working – not hooked up.
* AC – works although needs a recharge
* off road lights not connected..
Vehicle runs strong , but again as sold as is.
Advise potential owner to inspect in person first.
Problems-
Power steering pump leaks.. I replaced twice.. these run around 100 bucks to replace.
Tires have good meat- but have been sitting
The vehicle is not being driven and needs a good owner who will appreciate and maintain it properly.
