1987 Jeep Grand Wagoneer 4×4 V8
Selling a 1987 Jeep Grand Wagoneer that’s VERY original right down to its factory paint. Car fax shows that it spent most it’s life in California & Colorado. CLEAN CARFAX with no issues or accidents! Clean & Clear title in my name.
The Wagoneer ran & drove perfectly down the road with no issues last Fall. It was parked in storage last winter & now will not start. Engine cranks with ease. Has great compression. I believe it’s a fuel delivery or possibly a timing issue.?. Have not diagnosed – selling as is (my loss – your gain). Will need to be trailered upon pickup.
Have driven this Jeep (last year) up to 80+ mph and it drove very straight down the highway! Many new parts have been recently installed (in past 12 months): Starter, carburetor, muffler, shocks, trailer hitch, brakes, brake lines, distributor, coil, belts, hoses, oil, oil filter, air filter, etc…
Engine is a 360 & looks to be all original. Was a very strong runner when last on the road! A compression test showed great compression!
4×4 worked as it should when last operated on the road.
A Reese Trailer Hitch was installed – has not been used & looks to be in perfect condition!
The brakes worked very nice & have had a list of parts replaced recently.
Exterior is 100% original paint – does not appear to have anything replaced or repaired in its life! The body is actually quite solid but does have some flaws/issues (as seen in pics) but could be an easy project to take on! Many companies are making repair panels that would help make repairs easier! All Doors open & close perfectly! Glass is in excellent shape! Rear glass only rolls down partially & needs some tweaking to work as it should. Since rear glass doesn’t roll down – rear tailgate doesn’t open.
Interior is pretty much all original & looks very nice. Rear cargo area could use some new carpet & is showing its age. Headliner would need replacing/repair to be perfect since it’s currently tacked up in areas.
Undercarriage & the frame have not been touched and are in nice condition with normal wear. Floors are solid. Most of it life was spent in California & Colorado!
Wheels are all original & come with OEM center caps. OEM fog light covers & factory radio are also included in the sale.
**Like stated above – the Jeep currently does not run since coming out of storage. Will need to be trailered to next location.
