1989 YJ Wrangler. Completely re-done in 2020
305 Chevy V8 with a completely new rebuild, bored 0.030 over, crank reground, new valves, seats, exc. Hi output Power Master alternator, high torque Power Master mini starter, high flow PSC steering pump, MSD Distributor, Fi-Tech Electronic Fuel Injection, aluminum covers, high capacity radiator with aluminum shroud, Derale Cooling active oil cooler, roller tipped rockers, steel core rubber gaskets, Melling oil pump, Edelbrock intake… all the good parts. Runs great with more power than the jeep needs, Comp cam is not obnoxious, it idles nicely but sounds great with a dual exhaust. Advanced adapters plate to use the original AX15 Jeep 5 speed transmission. Axles are original and 4.10 gears and on 31″ BFG All Terrain tires. I have eliminated the vacuum 4×4 in the front axle with a push cable replacement kit that works much better. Jeep has a sound system with bluetooth radio and sub woofer with all marine waterproof speakers. Has complete soft top but is rarely on it as it’s always parked inside; it also has bikini half top. The Jeep was entirely re-done in 2020. Everything removed, the body was on a rotisserie and the underside was bed lined as well as the interior. Custom dash made with marine gauges to look more like a CJ model. It does have under dash heat, wipers, signals, everything normal. Brand new wiring harness and fuse block. It is in great condition with only 12,000 miles since rebuild and a ton of fun. It turns heads everywhere. Frame and roll bar are metallic blue, the yellow is the factory YJ Islander model color.
