1998 Jeep Wrangler. With 23,000 original miles!
I have owned this jeep for 17 years. Never off road or abused. No cutting or hacking done to original frame or body. Please take into consideration this is not a new vehicle, as it’s 25 years old. Mostly garaged. It was originally built by an accessory shop when new. As a product display vehicle. I believe I’m the second owner. Motor runs very smooth and quiet is completely original. I have loved this Jeep for a long time. It’s time for me to move on to many other projects.
It has a Dick Cepek race series suspension lift. Some extra lift parts included. Has a broken sway bar link with 2 new links included. No mirrors on Jeep. Have new ones I never installed which are also included. Jeep has 35 inch tires with only 10 miles on them. Does not have a spare but comes with a spare matching rim.
Original paint, never any accidents. Fender flairs are old and fragile but look good still. Rock gear soft top. Was one of the first frameless tops to come out. In Fair shape, but as well showing its age for about 8 years old. These tops are designed for off-roading and are not perfectly sealed around the doors as there are no upper door surrounds on this particular top.
Interior is very nice with little wear on drivers seat. It has Infinity speakers and a sound bar.
Jeep fires right up, runs very smooth! Working four-wheel drive.
Has a winch but needs some TLC, It’s getting corrosion on solenoid’s. It free spools out and will winch in but does not winch out so you can pull it out and then winch in. Turn signals and wipers both stopped working. Wiring bulbs are all okay very clean not sure what it is.
Jeep is beginning to form some rust on a couple of the body mounts. Floorboards under driver and passengers feet have surface rust. Small rust spot under passenger tail light. The rest of the body is in amazing condition.
Jeep runs great, however I would not recommend driving home as I consider this a collector’s vehicle and think it should be gone through before it gets on the road full time. Last inspection was in 07. It has always been started every few months and moved around. I’m open to offers, I need this Jeep gone within 30 days. So I will be dropping the price as it doesn’t sell.
