2004 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Turbo
Wow! Just 6k Miles on Long List of Upgrades! Turbo 4.0, Auto, Ready to Show/Go!
don’t have to tell you that this 2004 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon is a unique machine. The lifted stance, bold paint, bright wheels, and plenty of off-road components announce that in the first impression. And with everything from the upgraded turbo motor, to a well-upgraded A/C interior, this is a total package kind of custom 4×4.

The paint instantly sets this one apart. The tricolor red metallic won’t get lost in nature, and it will also get plenty of attention rolling through downtown. The color really is impressive. It’s not a perfect presentation, because after all, a real Jeep is meant to have a few chips from having fun (you’re going to do the same.) In fact, the full presentation is about showing off function within the flair. That’s why the Metalcloak fenders, Metalcloak rocker guards, Poison Spyder aluminum vented hood, and Highrock front bumper are all painted to match. And those polished Raceline 20-inch wheels show off the Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac tires. There’s also a Warn 9k winch, KC lights, a 50-inch LED light bar, steel side steps, a full-size spare on a swing-away mount, and a proper trailer hitch w/trailer brake. It all makes sure that this is the right mix of style and substance.

While the color-matched hardtop looks stylish in place, you might enjoy removing it just so you can show off the Rock Hard 4×4 full roll cage. And no matter how you choose to show off this Jeep, it has all the right features that come on modern Wranglers. This includes cruise control, a tilt steering column, cup holders, dual airbags, and cold-blowing air conditioning. This is attractive for more than just the factory amenities. There was an investment here in nice upgrades, like the Cipher leather racing front bucket seats, Bestop rear seat, and plenty of Dynamat sound insulation. The Pioneer AM/FM infotainment system is your gateway to Bluetooth, a backup camera, and plenty of extra speakers.

The odometer represents the full actual mileage of this Jeep, but one look under the hood and you know that doesn’t represent the full story. The 4.0-liter fuel injected motor was fully upgraded only about 6,500 miles ago. This includes a full Banks turbo upgrade that includes a Sidewinder turbocharger, an intercooler, a cold air intake system, and headers feeding the Monster stainless steel exhaust. And the clean look of the full package tells you that just because this Jeep is off-road ready doesn’t mean it spent its life in a mud hole. The same goes for the suspension. The undercarriage photos show a clean and mean setup with Metalcloak Game-Changer 3.5-inch suspension lift, upgraded arms, off-road shocks, chrome-moly rear axle, a Currie Ultimate steering linkage, Fox steering stabilizer, Currie sway bars, Poison Spyder custom painted diff covers, and Nitro Gear & Axle 4.88 diffs front and rear. One of the reasons this capable machine looks so clean is likely because it also had the right features for everyday kind of use. A four-speed automatic transmission w/overdrive, power steering, and four-wheel power disc brakes are the kind of things you want when just hitting the city streets.
