I LOVED this Jeep. We recently had a 3rd kid and need a third row, otherwise I wouldn’t sell it now.
It drives great. I have paid for any/all maintenance recommended by the mechanic over the last 10 years that I have owned the vehicle.
We live in the city so added very few miles commuting 3 miles downtown and back during the week. We bought the car used in Jan 2012 with ~90,000 miles on it already and have added less than 60,000 miles in the 10 years since. Plenty of minor scuffs/dings from city driving and parking, but nothing terrible.
The v8 Hemi has great pickup. 4 wheel drive and 4 doors. Trunk is spacious. It has a roof rack and trailer hitch.
The map is …dated but I used my iPhone to navigate anyway. It has Bluetooth for phone calls (but not for music go figure), but using a Bluetooth adapter plugged into the aux has worked great.
I replaced the transmission in 2019 ($2,000) and replaced the tires in 2016 with premium Goodyears for another $1,000.
Note the CD/DVD system broke, but since no one uses CDs or DVDs anymore I’m guessing that’s probably not a problem.
We replaced this car with another Jeep (with a 3rd row) since we had such a great experience with this vehicle. I’m not an expert so take this with a grain of salt (and no promises!) but my gut says this car has another 100,000 miles in it just fine.
