The Jeep runs well and has served me reliably, and given the age there are few things to be aware of:
There is some corrosion on the skid plate under the vehicle, and on the aftermarket step bars. I would recommend removing or replacing these components. Per my mechanic the chassis and other components under the vehicle are all in good shape.
It has been involved in a prior front-end accident that affected only the bull bar. The prior bull bar was replaced and the frame inspected by a professional auto body shop. The vehicle has a clean title.
I’d rather disclose everything up front than have anyone surprised after making the trip to see it.
Why I’m Selling
Simply put, it’s time for something different. I’ve enjoyed owning this Wrangler, but I no longer need the extra vehicle with my son going to college out of state.
