Body/frame:
Started with no hit no rust body and frame. Completely gone over with upgrades to include, frame welded, laser aligned/straightened to factory specs, body removed primed painted CAT Yellow with black Rhino liner interior. New body mounts, front shackle reversal installed with front frame HD crossmember and steering box guard (custom). Smitty built front and rear tube bumpers, removable gas can/spare tire carrier.
Engine, tranny and transfer case:
Engine is a TBI 350 CID small block Chevrolet coupled to a 4l60E Automatic transmission donated from a 1995 Chevrolet Silverado. Includes all original electronics plus Howell wiring harness. approximately 30K miles on engine and transmission. Advanced adaptors kit used for CJ application. Engine has been upgraded with new aluminum heads, cam, intank manifold and high performance 46mm TBI induction with tuned chip. (less then 1K miles). Engine is built and tuned for reliability. Rebuilt Dana 300 transfer case connects to custom made HD drive shafts, HD U -joints. All drive shaft angles are correct. Custom 2 into 1 exhaust.
Suspension, Axles and brakes:
Four inch lift built into spring mounts. Bilstein shocks. U bolts, drive shafts, trans pan and fuel tank are protected by custom fabricated HD skid plates. Currie upgraded 9” rear differential with ARB air locker installed. Front differential is an open Dana 44 with Warn locking hubs. 4 wheel power disc brakes with parking brake.
Roll cage and interior:
Full “Safari” custom HD fabricated roll bar professionally mounted for safety. Locking center console (matching key for Tuffy locking glove box) with Art Carr shifter. Grant steering wheel, custom dash mounted with VDO electronic speedo and tachometer with Autometer small gauges including clock (works) Upgraded switches and dash wiring using military HD parts. High capacity “Heater Craft” 3 speed heater. (works very well)
Electrical:
Set up for dual battery’s with marine grade battery switch. Battery mounted on HD Wrangler battery tray. HD waterproof starting circuit, all HD circuits are using mil spec wiring and connectors. Painless wiring fuse center and relays with extra circuits for additional add-ons. Custom side marker and rear lights using military components (water proof)
Other:
Multiple lights, conventional and LED. 26 gallon fuel tank. Brand new (in the box) full Best top and new bimini top.
